This trial is looking for patients aged 2 and older with certain movement disorders that may be treated with Botulinum Toxin (BTX). Participants will receive tailored BTX injections and can help advance research on these treatments.

You may be able to join if

  • I am 2 years old or older.
  • I have a movement disorder that my doctor thinks may be treated with BTX.

You may not be able to join if

  • I am planning to become pregnant, am currently pregnant, or am breastfeeding.
  • I need treatment with an aminoglycoside antibiotic.
  • I have a specific vocal fold condition related to reflux or emotional issues.

BTX has been used since the 1980s in support of the research mission of NINDS. Initial studies were focused on expanding the applicability of BTX treatment to movement disorders and exploring new indications. We evaluated the efficacy of an alternative serotype, type F.
