Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for adults with certain advanced cancers, including melanoma and breast cancer. Participants will receive a modified cancer vaccine through injections to help boost their immune response over eight sessions.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I have been diagnosed with metastatic cancer like melanoma or breast cancer.
  • I am over 18 years old.
  • I have not responded to at least one chemotherapy treatment.
  • I have a good performance status (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • My absolute neutrophil count is greater than 1000/mm3.
  • My ALT/AST levels are less than three times the normal limit.
  • My creatinine level is 1.6 mg/dl or lower.
  • I can understand and sign the Informed Consent document.

You may not be able to join if

  • I am under 18 years old.
  • I am pregnant.
  • My life expectancy is less than three months.

About This Trial
This study is based on the finding that tumor cells that are grown in the laboratory can be modified in such a way that, when injected to the patient, they will stimulate his/her immune response. This approach will be evaluated in patients with melanoma and colorectal, gastric, ovarian, breast, lung and kidney epithelial cancer.
