This trial is looking for men with low-risk prostate cancer who want to monitor their cancer closely rather than start immediate treatment. Participants will have regular check-ups and biopsies to track their condition.
You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
- I have localized prostate cancer stages T1-2.
- I have not received any previous treatment for prostate cancer.
- I choose Active Surveillance as my treatment plan.
- I have given consent to participate in this trial.
- I can attend follow-up appointments.
You may not be able to join if
- I am unwilling or unable to have repeated prostate biopsies.
- My overall life expectancy is less than 2 years.
- I have advanced prostate cancer.

A.S. is different from Watchful Waiting (W.W.), which is the palliative treatment of men with progressive prostate cancer.
