This trial is looking for women aged 0-45 who are at risk for losing ovarian function due to cancer treatment or surgery. Participants will help develop methods to freeze ovarian tissue and possibly conceive later.
You may be able to join if
- I am a premenopausal female between 0 and 45 years old.
- I have a treatment plan that could lead to early menopause or ovarian failure.
- I am undergoing cancer treatment that involves radiation or high dose chemotherapy.
- I need surgery that will remove my ovaries for a medical reason.
- I cannot or do not want to freeze my eggs or embryos.
- I have had cancer treatment before but still have working ovaries.
- I am medically stable enough for surgery.
You may not be able to join if
- I do not meet the eligibility criteria.
- I have not been cleared by my doctor to undergo surgery.
- I am already experiencing menopause.
