This trial is looking for cancer patients who are experiencing changes in taste due to chemotherapy. Participants will receive either real or fake acupuncture treatment, along with dietary recommendations, to see which is more effective in improving taste.
You may be able to join if
- I am undergoing chemotherapy with certain cancer treatments.
- I have a type of cancer affecting the breast, reproductive system, or internal organs.
- I experience a severe change in taste.
- I am willing to participate and can provide written consent.
You may not be able to join if
- I have severe mouth ulcers.
- I had taste changes before starting chemotherapy due to other medical issues.
- I have a low white blood cell count.
- I take blood-thinning medications.
- I smoke.
- I have serious health problems that prevent me from participating.
- I am involved in other complementary treatments.
- I am part of another study related to oral complications.
