This trial is looking for adults diagnosed with certain heart diseases. Participants will undergo a heart scan using advanced imaging techniques to help improve diagnosis and treatment.
You may be able to join if
- I am between 18 and 90 years old.
- I have been diagnosed with myocardial ischemia or infarction.
- I have been diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
- I have been diagnosed with infiltrative cardiomyopathy.
- I have been diagnosed with myocarditis.
- I have been referred for a clinically needed cardiac MRI.
You may not be able to join if
- I have an implanted device that makes an MRI unsafe.
- I have an acute psychiatric disorder or cognitive impairment.
- I use or am dependent on substances of abuse.
- I am not willing to follow the study requirements.
- I have previously joined this study.
- I am allergic to MRI contrast agents.
- I am in an acute unstable condition.

Check Your EligibilityThe overall goal of this project is to evaluate the clinical potential of fast quantitative myocardial tissue characterization using recently emerged Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CMR) techniques to aid the diagnosis, treatment, and follow up of patients with myocardial diseases, such as ischemic heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and myocarditis.
