This trial is looking for people with Barrett's Esophagus and healthy participants aged 18 to 85. Taking part involves using a small capsule for imaging and following some food guidelines before the procedure.
You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with Barrett's Esophagus
- I am 18 years or older with a past diagnosis of GERD
- I am 14 years or older with a past diagnosis of EoE
- I am a healthy participant aged 18 to 85
- I can give informed consent
- I will not eat solid food for 4 hours before the procedure
- I will have only clear liquids for 2 hours before the procedure
You may not be able to join if
- I am over 85 years old
- I cannot swallow pills or capsules
- I have a strong gag reflex
- I have an esophageal fistula or strictures smaller than the capsule diameter
- I am pregnant
- I am unsure if I am pregnant and will not take a pregnancy test
