This trial is looking for Chinese patients with locally advanced esophageal squamous cell cancer. Participants will receive either surgery or a combination of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
You may be able to join if
- I am Chinese
- I have been diagnosed with esophageal squamous cell cancer
- I have mid or lower esophageal cancer
- My tumor can be removed by surgery
- My cancer stage is cT1bN+Mo or cT2-4aN0-2M0
You may not be able to join if
- I have distant metastasis to solid organs
- I have local invasion into the trachea, descending aorta, or recurrent laryngeal nerve
- I have a serious condition that affects my physical status for surgery
