This trial is looking for people diagnosed with biliary atresia who are getting or about to get a liver transplant. Participants will be enrolled from specific hospitals that are part of the study.

- I have been diagnosed with biliary atresia
- I am receiving or about to receive a liver transplant

- I am a child in the care of the state
- I am a patient in the care of temporary or informal guardians
