This trial is looking for African-American men who have recently been diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer. Participants will be interviewed about their understanding of treatment options after meeting with their doctor.

You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with stage T1-T2 prostate cancer.
- I have undergone pathology review of my prostate biopsy.
You may not be able to join if
- I have an RN or MD degree.
- I have a history of head injury or dementia.
- I have a history of cognitive impairment.
- I am unable to participate in the study interview in English.

About This Trial
Investigators propose an observational interview study to explore how patients understand treatment conversations with their physicians within the framework of health literacy. Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Patients who have undergone pathology review of their prostate biopsy at Emory University, Grady Memorial Hospital, Saint Joseph's Hospital, and Atlanta VA Medical Center with AJCC clinical stage T1-T2 prostate cancer by physical exam
