Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Elective cardiac surgery
* Age ≥60 years
* Good knowledge of the German language
* Written informed consent
Exclusion Criteria:
* Emergency surgery
* Medical instability limiting preoperative assessment
* Surgical procedures without the use of cardiopulmonary bypass
