Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for people with lung cancer who are scheduled for surgery. Participants will receive a special drug that helps make cancer cells easier to see during the operation.
Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
You may be able to join if
- I have a lung nodule or mass that might be cancer.
- I am scheduled for lung surgery to remove the nodule or mass.
- I have a Karnofsky performance status of at least 70%.
- My hemoglobin level is at least 9 gm/dL.
- My white blood cell count is over 3000/mm³.
- My platelet count is at least 100,000/mm³.
- My serum creatinine is within normal limits.
You may not be able to join if
- I have received an investigational drug in the past 30 days.
- I have had a heart attack or stroke in the past 6 months.
- I have uncontrolled heart failure or significant liver disease.
- I have had infusion reactions to monoclonal antibody therapies.
- I am pregnant or breastfeeding.
- My magnesium or potassium levels are below normal.
- I take certain antiarrhythmic medications.
- I have a history of lung conditions like pneumonitis or fibrosis.

About This Trial
This phase I/II trial studies the best dose and timing of panitumumab-IRDye800 in detecting cancer in participants with lung cancer during the surgery. Panitumumab-IRDye800 is a combination of the antibody drug panitumumab and IRDye800CW, an investigational dye that can be seen using a special camera.
