This trial is looking for patients with small lung nodules who may need surgery. Participants will undergo two different types of surgical procedures, but their results will be evaluated separately.
You may be able to join if
- I am 18 years or older.
- I have been evaluated by my thoracic surgeon and deemed a candidate for iVATS surgery.
- I have lung nodules or other abnormalities that are 2 cm or smaller.
- My lung lesions are located in the outer portion of the lung.
- I have been evaluated at BWH or DFCI Thoracic Surgery outpatient clinics.
You may not be able to join if
- I am pregnant or breastfeeding.
- My treating thoracic surgeon has determined that I am not eligible for the study.
