Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Subjects scheduled for routine cardiac surgery for infectious endocarditis (diagnosed according to the predefined "DUKE" criteria) with antibiotic therapy for ≤ 14 days.
* Presence of informed consent
