Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
• Children with septic shock and refractory septic shock admitted to the PICU of all the study centers
Exclusion Criteria:
* Fatal chromosomal abnormalities (e.g., trisomy 13 or 18)
* Uncontrolled bleeding
* Irreversible brain damage
