Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* erythema migrans
Exclusion Criteria:
* pregnancy
* extracutaneous manifestations of Lyme borreliosis
* immunocompromising state
* serious adverse event to beta lactam antibiotic
* receiving antibiotic with antiborrelial activity within 10 days
