Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for patients with recurring brain tumors that are hard to treat. Participants will receive injections of special immune cells for a total of 12 cycles over several weeks.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I have a malignant CNS tumor that is recurrent or progressive.
  • I can have an Ommaya reservoir or a VP shunt placed.
  • I am at least 6 months post-allogeneic stem cell transplant.
  • I have a performance score of 50 or greater.
  • I have adequate liver and kidney function.
  • I am not currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • I have recovered from previous treatments and waited the required time.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have diffuse midline gliomas or DIPG.
  • I have any other active cancer spread to other parts of the body.
  • I have a serious uncontrolled infection.
  • I have a condition affecting my immune system.
  • I have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners.
  • I cannot comply with safety monitoring requirements.
  • I have a medical or psychological condition that affects my ability to participate.

About This Trial
Each patient will receive up to 12 cycles of TGFβi NK cell infusions. Each cycle will be of 4 weeks duration. During the first 3 weeks, TGFβi NK cells will be infused once weekly. The 4th week will be a rest week. TGFβi NK cell infusions should be delivered at least 3 days apart (e.g., Friday of Week 1 and Monday of Week 2).
