Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for women with advanced ovarian cancer to see if a combination of surgeries and treatments can improve outcomes. Participants will undergo specific surgeries and receive chemotherapy to help address their condition.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am between 18 and 75 years old.
  • I have been diagnosed with advanced ovarian or similar cancer.
  • I have had an initial laparoscopic evaluation that confirmed my cancer type.
  • I have stage III B-C or stage IVA ovarian cancer with limited fluid in my lungs.
  • I have completed surgery to reduce the cancer.
  • I can have 3 to 4 rounds of chemotherapy before surgery.
  • It has been 4 to 8 weeks since my last chemotherapy before the surgery.
  • I have normal blood tests, including hemoglobin and platelets.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have a performance status of 2 or higher.
  • I have stage IV B cancer or stage IV A with significant lung fluid.
  • I have kidney problems.
  • I have a general reason that prevents me from having surgery.
  • I have liver problems.
  • I have a serious health condition that could put my life at risk.
  • I have had previous chemotherapy for ovarian cancer.
  • I am pregnant or nursing.
