* Adult men and women
* Who receive cardiovascular surgery
* Agree to participate in the surgery and sign the informed consent form
Exclusion Criteria:
* Pregnant or planning on getting pregnant during the study
* Contain a minimum of 2 traits of metabolic syndrome
