This trial is looking for people with Parkinson's disease to help understand how they control reaching movements. Participants will do tasks in a virtual reality setup.
You may be able to join if
- I am between 18 and 85 years old.
- I can reach about 20 cm (8 inches).
- I have a score of 26 or higher on the MMSE test.
- I am willing and able to attend all testing sessions.
- I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
- I am currently taking dopaminergic or dopamine agonist medication.
You may not be able to join if
- I have a recent or chronic hand or arm condition that affects my reaching.
- I have any neurological disorder other than Parkinson's disease.
