This trial is looking for people who have chest pain and may have heart problems. Participants will undergo special heart imaging tests to help doctors understand their condition better.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I have chest pain and may have heart problems.
  • I need a non-urgent heart evaluation.
  • I have had previous heart surgery or treatment.
  • I am 65 or older with chest pain.
  • I am 50 or older with chest pain, have typical angina symptoms, and at least one heart risk factor.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have ongoing chest pain that requires urgent heart treatment.
  • I was hospitalized for acute coronary syndrome in the last 6 months.
  • I have severe heart valve disease that might need surgery.
  • I have severe heart failure.
  • I have conditions that prevent me from understanding the consent form.
  • I have known atrial fibrillation.
  • I have severe kidney problems.
  • I am allergic to x-ray contrast.

About This Trial

The purpose of the DYNAMITE trial (Dynamic CT stress myocardial perfusion, CT fractional flow reserve (FFR-CT) and coronary CT angiography for optimized treatment strategy in patients with chest pain syndromes) is to determine the ability of combined anatomical and functional cardiac CT imaging to improve morbidity and mortality in patients with suspected or known ischemic heart disease.
