This trial is looking for people who have had a stroke for at least 6 months and have significant difficulties with hand movement. Participants will try a new treatment that uses electrical stimulation to help improve their hand function and reduce stiffness.
You may be able to join if
- I have had a stroke for at least 6 months.
- I have had a single stroke.
- I have some stiffness in my fingers.
You may not be able to join if
- I have vision problems.
- I have hearing or cognitive issues.
- I have a history of lung disease.
- I am currently changing my muscle relaxant medications.
- I have had botulinum toxin injections in my arm or fingers in the last 4 months.
- I have had phenol injections in my arm or fingers in the last 2 years.
- I have a pacemaker.
- I am pregnant.
