Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer who have not responded to previous BCG treatments or who have not been treated before. Participants will receive a new treatment called EG-70, which is given directly into the bladder.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I have non-muscle invasive bladder cancer that has not responded to BCG treatment.
  • I have been diagnosed with carcinoma in situ (CIS).
  • I am 18 years or older.
  • I have a negative pregnancy test if I am a woman of childbearing potential.
  • I am willing to use effective birth control methods if I am a woman who can get pregnant.
  • I have good bladder function and can hold the study drug for 60 minutes.
  • I meet certain blood test requirements.
  • I have not received treatment with certain immunosuppressive medications.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have an active cancer that needs treatment.
  • I have received chemotherapy recently.
  • I have had a partial cystectomy.
  • I have unresolved infections that need systemic treatment.
  • I have a history of severe asthma or lung diseases.
  • I have a known allergy to polidocanol.
  • I have received treatment with certain drugs within the last 30 days.
  • I have significant cardiovascular risks.

About This Trial
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of intravesical administration of detalimogene (EG-70) in the bladder and its effect on bladder tumors in patients with NMIBC. This study study consists of two phases; a Phase 1 dose-escalation to establish safety and recommended the phase 2 dose, followed by a Phase 2 study to establish how effective the treatment is.
