This trial is looking for women with obesity and endometrial cancer or a related condition. Participants will undergo weight loss surgery and a hysterectomy within a few weeks of their first appointment.
You may be able to join if
- I am a woman at least 18 years old
- My BMI is between 35 and 39.99 and I have a severe obesity-related health issue
- My BMI is 40 or higher
- I have a tissue diagnosis of grade 1 endometrial carcinoma or EIN
You may not be able to join if
- I am younger than 18 years old
- My BMI is less than 35
- I do not have a tissue diagnosis, or I have grade 2 or greater endometrial cancer
- I am currently pregnant
- I have been advised against bariatric surgery for any reason
- I cannot read an English consent form
- I am not willing to provide informed consent

Check Your EligibilityTo assess the feasibility of an expedited referral process for the obese endometrial cancer or EIN patient from her gynecologic oncologist to the Brigham Center for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (CMBS) in order to undergo concurrent weight loss surgery and hysterectomy within 8 weeks of first appointment with a gynecologic oncologist (or 12 weeks for EIN patients).
