About This Trial
Pulmonary embolism (PE) is the third leading cause of cardiovascular mortality. The Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) concept offers a rapid and multidisciplinary approach focused on improving outcomes for patients with PE. Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
1. PE confirmed by computed tomography pulmonary angiography.
2. PE symptoms duration ≤ 14 days.
3. High-risk PE with hemodynamic instability (one of):
* cardiac arrest
* obstructive shock
* persistent hypotension.
