Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for patients with head and neck cancer who have had surgery. Participants will receive either proton or carbon therapy after their surgery.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am over 18 years old
  • I have head and neck cancer
  • I have had surgery to remove my tumor
  • I have no visible tumor left after surgery
  • I am set to receive at least 54 Gy of radiation
  • I am part of a social security scheme
  • I will sign consent before joining the study

You may not be able to join if

  • I have visible tumor left after surgery
  • I have had another cancer in the past 5 years (except certain skin or cervical cancers)
  • I have had radiation therapy before
  • I am currently receiving chemotherapy or certain other cancer treatments with radiation
  • I have been on long-term immunosuppressive treatments
  • I am a prisoner or under guardianship
  • I can't participate in the study for personal reasons
  • I am pregnant or breastfeeding
