This trial is looking for adults with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) to test a medication called zanubrutinib. Participants will be monitored for safety and effectiveness of the treatment.
You may be able to join if
- I am 18 years old or older.
- I have been diagnosed with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) for more than 3 months.
- I have primary ITP with a platelet count below 30.
- I have not responded to or relapsed after corticosteroid treatment.
- I have had at least one second-line therapy including rituximab at least 12 weeks ago.
- My liver and kidney function tests are within normal limits.
- I can give written informed consent.
You may not be able to join if
- I have uncontrolled serious health issues like cancer or heart failure.
- I am HIV positive.
- I have an active infection that cannot be controlled.
- I have severe bleeding or have had major bleeding recently.
- I have current heart problems that need treatment.
- I have had recent blood clots or a history of certain vascular diseases.
- I have had an organ transplant in the past.
- I am pregnant, suspect I might be pregnant, or am breastfeeding.
