Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for people with early relapsing multiple sclerosis. Participants will receive infusions either of a placebo or Ocrelizumab every six months for a total of four years to see how stopping treatment affects them.

You may be able to join if

  • I have had at least one clinical episode of early multiple sclerosis.
  • My disease duration from the first symptom is 3 years or less.
  • I agree to use effective contraception during the trial if I can get pregnant.

You may not be able to join if

  • I cannot provide written informed consent.
  • I have had primary, secondary, or progressive multiple sclerosis.
  • I have any devices in my body that prevent me from having an MRI.
  • I am currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • I have a significant infection that requires medical treatment.
  • I have a serious allergic reaction to monoclonal antibodies.
  • I have a history of severe health issues that would prevent me from participating.

About This Trial
This study is a prospective, multi-center, randomized, double blinded, placebo-controlled study of OCR treatment-discontinuation in patients with early RMS.
