Inclusion Criteria:
* informed consent
* age \>18 years
* Acute non-traumatic acute headaches
* patients treated in ED
* Magnesium sulfate and aspirin administered intravenously (IV)
Exclusion Criteria:
* Current regular use of analgesics, anticonvulsants or antidepressants
