Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for patients with chronic coronary syndromes who cannot have heart surgery. Participants will take aspirin and help researchers learn about its effects and safety in this group.

You may be able to join if

  • I have chronic coronary syndromes with at least 50% narrowing in my coronary arteries.
  • I cannot have coronary heart surgery.
  • I can give my consent to participate.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have had an acute coronary syndrome in the past.
  • I have had a heart procedure like PCI or CABG.
  • I have major narrowing in my left main coronary artery.
  • I must take aspirin for another reason.
  • I am on blood-thinning treatment other than aspirin.
  • I have atrial fibrillation.
  • I had a stroke in the last six months.
  • I am scheduled for major surgery where I'll need to stop taking aspirin.
