This trial is looking for patients who need a kidney transplant from a living donor. Participants will receive treatment involving special immune cells and will be followed for one year after the transplant.

  • I am 18 years or older and under 70 years old.
  • I have chronic kidney disease stage 5 and am preparing for a kidney transplant.
  • My blood type is compatible with my donor's.
  • I have no donor-specific HLA antibodies.
  • I have a negative test result for SARS-CoV-2.
  • I can understand the trial and give my written consent.
  • My donor has given consent for me to participate.

You may not be able to join if

  • I am pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • I have severe cardiovascular disease.
  • I have a severe psychiatric illness.
  • I currently have an active infection that could affect my safety.
  • I have had recent invasive procedures in the last 4 months.
  • I have a known autoimmune disease requiring immunosuppressive therapy.
  • I have had recent blood transfusions in the UK.
