This trial is looking for patients with polycythemia who regularly need phlebotomies. Participants will wear devices that track their heart rate one week before and one week after three phlebotomies.
You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with polycythemia and need phlebotomy at least every 4 months.
- I am 18 years or older.
- I have a smartphone.
- I expect to live for at least 3 more months.
You may not be able to join if
- I have poor performance status.
- I have known arrhythmias or significant heart problems.
- I am currently hospitalized.
- I have a pacemaker.
- I have secondary polycythemia due to smoking or lung issues.
- I have scheduled cancer treatments or surgery during the study.
