This trial is looking for young people aged 8 to 21 with diabetes to see if a special camera helps screen for eye problems. Participants will have their eyes checked for diabetic retinopathy using advanced technology.
You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes for at least 3 years and I am 11 years old or older.
- I have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.
- I am between 8 and 21 years old.
- I have diabetic retinopathy.
You may not be able to join if
- I have had a diabetic eye exam in the last 12 months.

Check Your EligibilityThe purpose of this study is to determine if use of a nonmydriatic fundus camera using autonomous artificial intelligence software at the point of care increases the proportion of underserved youth with diabetes screened for diabetic retinopathy, and to determine the diagnostic accuracy of the autonomous AI system in detecting diabetic retinopathy from retinal images of youth with diabetes.
