This trial is looking for adults with autoimmune diseases that have caused vision problems. If you join, you will take minocycline and attend regular visits to check your progress.

You may be able to join if

  • I have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that has affected my vision.
  • I am between 18 and 60 years old.
  • I can sign the informed consent document.
  • I am able to attend the required visits.

You may not be able to join if

  • I am allergic to minocycline or tetracyclines.
  • I have a problem with my liver, heart, kidneys, or thyroid.
  • I am currently taking glucocorticoids, immunosuppressants, or biologics.
  • I am pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
  • I am taking other medications for other diseases.

About This Trial
Autoimmune uveitis is one kind of non-infectious, sight-threatening, relapsing and severe ocular disease.
