Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for patients with advanced triple negative breast cancer that has come back after treatment. Participants will take ceralasertib followed by a combination of durvalumab and nab-paclitaxel.

You may be able to join if

  • I am at least 18 years old.
  • I have triple negative breast cancer that has metastasized.
  • I have not received previous systemic chemotherapy in the advanced stage.
  • I have a tumor tissue sample available for testing.
  • I can take oral medications.
  • I have a performance status of 0 or 1.
  • I have a life expectancy of at least 3 months.
  • I have passed a pregnancy test if I am a woman of childbearing potential.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have been diagnosed with ataxia telangiectasia.
  • I have previously treated with ATR inhibitors or DNA-damage repair inhibitors.
  • I have experienced severe side effects from previous immunotherapy.
  • I have used immunosuppressive medications in the last 4 weeks.
  • I have any current autoimmune or inflammatory disorders.
  • I have known active hepatitis infection.
  • I have tested positive for HIV.
  • I have had a second primary cancer, except for certain skin cancers.

About This Trial

This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of ceralasertib followed by durvalumab plus nab-paclitaxel in 37 patients with TNBC, whose tumor relapsed following treatment with curative intent for early disease, which must have included immunotherapy and chemotherapy as part of the radical locoregional therapy (either adjuvant, neoadjuvant or both).
