Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for adults with Merkel cell cancer to test a combination of two treatments, pembrolizumab and Lutetium, to see how they work together. Participants will need to have had prior treatments and certain health conditions before joining.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am at least 18 years old.
  • I have been diagnosed with Merkel cell cancer.
  • I have completed all my previous cancer treatments.
  • I have had cancer progress after receiving anti-PD-1/L1 treatment.
  • I understand and agree to participate in the study.
  • I have measurable cancer lesions.
  • I have adequate organ function as confirmed by blood tests.
  • I can provide consent and health information.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have another active cancer that requires treatment.
  • I have uncontrolled HIV or a certain history of infections.
  • I have not recovered from the effects of prior cancer treatment.
  • I am pregnant or breastfeeding, or plan to become pregnant.
  • I am not able to use effective birth control if I could become pregnant.
  • I have certain liver or kidney issues.
  • I have certain known infections like HBV or HCV that are not controlled.

About This Trial
The purpose of this study is to find out what effects an immunotherapy drug, called pembrolizumab, combined with a radioactive drug, called lutetium Lu 177 dotatate (Lutathera®) have on patients with Merkel cell carcinoma.
