Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for patients with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer that cannot be treated with surgery. Participants will receive standard treatment plus a high dose of targeted radiation therapy to see if it improves outcomes.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I have been diagnosed with non-operable stage IIB or III lung cancer.
  • I have at least one enlarged lymph node.
  • I am 18 years or older.
  • I can safely receive chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
  • I have a primary tumor that is 7 cm or smaller.
  • I have a negative scan for distant metastases.
  • I give my consent to participate in this trial.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have had previous radiation for this lung cancer.
  • I do not have an identifiable primary tumor.
  • My primary tumor is too close to lymph nodes.
  • I am pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • I am unwilling to use effective contraception during the trial.
  • My medical history does not allow for the study treatments.
