Epileptic seizures are caused by abnormal synchronized electrical neuronal discharges that could be either focal or widespread. \- Patients aged ≥ 18 years old. Patients with grand mal epilepsy on phenytoin monotherapy. Women with a negative pregnancy test and women on effective contraception
