Inclusion Criteria:
* Female gender.
* Aged 60 years and older.
* Diagnosed with primary osteoarthritis of the knee.
* Underwent unilateral TKR.
Exclusion Criteria:
* revision TKR surgery
* history of systemic inflammatory conditions (i.e., rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus erythematosus),
