This trial is looking for people with newly diagnosed endometrial cancer to see if a shorter radiation treatment combined with chemotherapy is practical. Participants will receive treatment over one week, rather than the usual five weeks.
You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with endometrial carcinoma.
- I have had surgery that involved removing my uterus and ovaries.
- I have stage III endometrial cancer.
- I am at least 18 years old.
- I have a Karnofsky Performance Status of 70 or above.
- I do not have any major nerve damage.
- I have no cancer left after surgery.
- I have good organ function as shown by my lab results.
You may not be able to join if
- I have endometrial cancer with known POLE mutations.
- My cancer is mismatch repair deficient.
- I have active inflammatory bowel disease.
- I have had a heart attack within the last 90 days.
- I cannot undergo pelvic radiation due to prior radiation treatment.
- I have a history of certain fistulas.
- I have any blood disorder that would stop me from having radiation.
- I have uncontrolled major seizure disorders.
