This trial is looking for patients who are 18 years or older and have experienced their first episode of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in their legs. Participants will be involved in a study that monitors certain biological markers and possible long-term complications for two years.
You may be able to join if
- I am 18 years or older
- I have had my first lower extremity DVT
- I was hospitalized at the Emergency Department
You may not be able to join if
- I do not have a Danish social security number
- I am a terminal patient
- I do not understand or speak Danish
