About This Trial
Friedreich's Ataxia (FA) Friedreich's Ataxia is a neurodegenerative disease caused by a homozygous expansion of the GAA triplet repeats of the frataxin gene (FXN). FA usually begins in childhood or adolescence. It affects both boys and girls.
