Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for patients with advanced melanoma who are starting their first treatment with immunotherapy. Participants will provide stool and blood samples at various times to help researchers understand how certain biological markers may relate to treatment response.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am over 18 years old
  • I have been diagnosed with malignant melanoma
  • I have stage IIID unresectable or IV melanoma
  • My performance status is 0 to 2 according to the WHO
  • I am starting my first treatment with immunotherapy
  • I had a CT or PET CT scan in the last 4 weeks
  • I have signed consent to participate in the trial

You may not be able to join if

  • I have had previous treatment for melanoma
  • My performance status is 3 or 4 according to the WHO
  • I have known issues with my immune system
  • I am currently on active immunosuppressive treatment
  • I have an active autoimmune disease that requires treatment
  • I have another type of cancer, except for certain cured skin cancers
