Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for adults with early-stage squamous cell cancer in the oropharynx. Participants must have had a specific type of surgery, and may also opt to take part in additional studies about genetics and imaging.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am 18 years or older.
  • I have a primary tumour in the oropharynx.
  • I have been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma.
  • My tumour is either P16 positive or negative.
  • I have been treated with trans-oral robotic surgery.
  • My cancer is at an early stage (pT1-T2).
  • My surgery was done on or before December 31, 2021.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have moderate to advanced stage oropharyngeal cancer.
  • I had surgery for diagnosis, recurrence, or palliative care.
  • I have a prior history of head and neck cancer or radiation therapy.
  • I have known distant metastatic disease.
  • I have other types of head and neck cancers.
