This trial is looking for older adults who live alone and want to join a 10-week discussion about arts and culture with an international student. Participants should be over 60 and able to have daily conversations, even with hearing aids.
You may be able to join if
- I live alone
- I am older than 60 years old
- I have lived in a subsidized apartment for at least one year
- I can carry on a daily conversation with or without hearing aids
- I have a score greater than 5 on the Short Portable Mental Status Questionnaire
- I have a working smartphone that can do video conferencing
- I can provide informed consent
You may not be able to join if
- I have physical or sensory deficits that may impede participation
- I am a non-English speaker
