To date, the underlying causes of community-acquired fever, particularly non-malarial fever, are insufficiently documented in Guinea. Moreover, diagnostic capacity is limited, leading to inadequate prescription of antibiotics and antimalarials, as well as substantial delay in outbreak recognition.
