Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for men diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer. Participants will receive hormone therapy and may also get special radiation treatment to areas where the cancer has spread.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am at least 18 years old.
  • I have prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of my body.
  • I have not received any prior treatments for my prostate cancer.
  • I have been diagnosed with prostate adenocarcinoma.
  • I understand and am willing to sign a consent form.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have been diagnosed with castration resistant prostate cancer.
  • I have evidence of cancer spread to my brain or other organs.
  • I am currently receiving other cancer treatments.
  • I have had any other cancer in the last 2 years, except for non-melanoma skin cancer.
  • I have uncontrolled health issues that affect my treatment.
  • I cannot tolerate lying flat for imaging tests.
  • I refuse to sign the consent form.

About This Trial
The purpose of this study is to find out if giving radiation therapy (RT) to areas of metastatic prostate cancer at the time a participant is diagnosed will help control disease better than the usual treatment.
