Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for adults with stage 2 or 3 triple negative breast cancer. If you join, you will receive specific treatments and undergo a few scans to check your progress before surgery.

You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with stage II-III triple negative breast cancer.
- I am at least 18 years old.
- My performance status is between 0 and 2.
- I am eligible for standard chemo-immunotherapy as determined by my doctor.
- I can understand and sign a consent form.
You may not be able to join if
- I cannot undergo a PET or MRI scan.
- I have evidence of metastatic disease or recurrence.
- I have inflammatory breast cancer.
- I have previously been treated with paclitaxel, carboplatin, or immune checkpoint inhibitors.

About This Trial
Eligible patients with stage 2 and 3 triple negative breast cancer will be treated with 4 cycles of neoadjuvant paclitaxel/carboplatin/pembrolizumab. A PET scan will be performed at baseline and after 1 cycle of therapy. A breast MRI will be performed after treatment completion. Patients with complete clinical response will proceed to surgery. Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
1. Stage II-III TNBC - estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) up to and including 10% is eligible
2. Age ≥ 18 years
3. Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status of 0 to 2
