This trial is looking for people who have had a colonoscopy before and are willing to participate in a follow-up colonoscopy after 3 years. Participants will help researchers understand if artificial intelligence can improve the outcomes of colonoscopies.
You may be able to join if
- I was part of the ENDOAID-TRAIN study for colonoscopy.
- I am fit and willing to have a follow-up colonoscopy at year 3.
- I have given my written consent to participate.
You may not be able to join if
- My colonoscopy was incomplete.
- I have known remaining colorectal growths that were not removed.
- I had an unscheduled colonoscopy before year 3.
- I have conditions preventing me from having a follow-up colonoscopy.
- I have severe health issues (American Society of Anesthesiologists grade 4 or above).
- I have a history of colorectal cancer, certain genetic syndromes, or inflammatory bowel disease.
- I have had a colectomy at any time.

Check Your EligibilityWe hypothesize that AI-assisted colonoscopy can reduce post-colonoscopy neoplasia incidence after 3 years, over standard colonoscopy. Moreover, this protective effect may allow surveillance intervals to be lengthened, by modifying long-term outcome of high-risk subgroup.
