This trial is looking for Chinese American adults with uncontrolled Type 2 diabetes. Participants will receive video-based education and some may also work with community health workers to help manage their diabetes.
You may be able to join if
- I am Chinese American.
- I am over 18 years old.
- I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
- I have seen a doctor for my diabetes in the last year.
- My latest HbA1c level is at least 7%.
- I am willing to watch brief videos about managing diabetes.
- I have a smartphone or I can use a study smartphone.
You may not be able to join if
- I cannot give informed consent.
- I cannot participate meaningfully in the study.
- I do not want to be randomly assigned to a group.
- I am pregnant, planning to get pregnant soon, or become pregnant during the study.
- I am breastfeeding.
